These are a couple of mascots that were at a marathon my friends were running. The morning was chilly but beautiful. Everyone in the picture is doing a warm up led by some trainers at Goodlife.

Narnia
On the drive back from Thunder Bay my dad stopped the car because he saw this little bridge. Knowing I love photography he thought it would make some good pictures. He was right. It was a gorgeous winter day and I'm quite appreciative that he took the time to let me do some photography.
His name is Rio and he dances on the sand.
I went with my friend Alex, and his wonderful family to their cottage in Grand Bend Ontario. I was so happy that I got to go to this beach when I visited London. It is my favourite place in Ontario and not going there would be quite upsetting. This is Rio. He belongs to Alex's family and is pretty much the cutest dog ever.
Sandstar
My dad, grandma and I went to Grand Beach a couple summers ago. It was fairly rainy but we decided to go to the beach anyways. I took this picture of my favourite pair of Converse as we were sitting there enjoying the sound of the waves crashing.

Petrified
A photo taken in Pompeii. This is the cast of a petrified human body. As you can see they are praying for help as themselves and the rest of their city are being covered in ash when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. Seeing this was a very surreal moment in my life.

Directions
(May 2012)
A sign at the top of Vesuvius telling us where we can buy souvenirs and where the clearest view of Pompeii is. My dad and I were driven part way up, with other adventurers and then walked the rest of the way. I can now cross this off of my bucket list!

Good Shot
After a good few tries my friend, Don and I were able to capture some awesome photos of him playing darts. After counting down, different shutter speeds, etc etc and we finally got it down to a rough 'science'.
Welcome Home
My dad and step-mom holding each other for the first time after he had gotten back from Afghanistan. As soon as he came down the stairs Diane and I started crying and it didn't stop for a while. Other military families were there to greet their loved ones, which was wonderful to see.I am so happy that I captured this moment and admittedly I get a little emotional when I look at this picture.
Andreia
I took some photos for my friend, Andreia while she was pregnant. I was able to take some maternity photos of her and then give them to her as a shower gift.
Sprint to the Finish
Richard was about to cross the finish line when I snapped this photo. It was his first 1/2 marathon and he did an amazing job. Also, he has the longest strides...ever...
Focus
My friend Vanessa getting ready to run a 1/2 marathon. It was a beautiful morning at Assiniboine Park and Vanessa did an awesome job. She asked me to take pictures of her for the marathon which made me very happy. I only got an hour or two of sleep the night before but I had an awesome time.
Joy
This is my little cousin Elliot. Him and his brother Denis are absolutely adorable. I was able to capture this little pose when his aunty was holding him during a family reunion on Diane (my stepmom's) side.
They Make 'em Bigger in Sorrento
All throughout Sorrento you see many, many lemon trees. Some are just ordinary but then you see lemons like this. They are massive. The oranges you see are regular oranges, so when you compare the two...you can see what I mean. There are lemon and orange juice stands all around and believe me, it doesn't get better than that.
Wonderfully Italian
This was taken in Rome, Italy. It is my favourite Italian food, caprese salad. I pretty much lived off of this and gelati while I was there. Of course I had pasta and tried other wonderful foods Italy had to offer, but this is number one to me.
Harrius Potter Et Philosophi Lapis
Here I am just hanging out in Pompeii reading Harrius Potter Et Philosophi Lapis. This book traveled a long way for this one picture and I'm glad it did. In front of me you see the forum. To the right there is a a section of the forum that is being used as storage on display. It contains artifacts that have been found throughout Pompeii.
Rise
This is Tim McIlrath, the lead singer of Rise Against. I took this picture at Bluesfest in Ottawa. It was such an amazing experience to see one of my favourite bands and in a setting such as this one. It was an outdoor concert and everyone was so excited to see them perform. Just as Tim McIlrath said 'Thank you, goodnight" (after the encore) it started to pour. People started running around getting under beer tents, picking up plastic tables and hiding underneath them and laughing hysterically while doing so. It was an awesome end to a kick ass show.
